Start-up support for social business ideas

Become a future entrepreneur or a partner for social business models

Developing entrepreneurial concepts to solve societal problems—strengthening innovation and social entrepreneurship in the Hannover region and Lower Saxony: That is the vision of the Social Innovation Center.

Socially innovative startup concepts are supported and fostered through a four-month, free entrepreneurship program.

The core of the Social Innovation Center consists, among other things, of the following building blocks for developing a social business:

  • Individual consulting for social startup projects
  • Workshops on all relevant startup topics, such as needs and market analysis, defining problems and refining ideas, impact models, prototyping, business model development, marketing, funding sources, and customer management
  • Networking with mentors and industry partners
  • Co-working spaces and a community at Hafven

The Social Innovation Center is supported by strong partners. Through idea generation in interdisciplinary SIC future workshops or by supporting a social startup, participants develop innovative business models, learn agile methods, and gain access to an exciting network.

As a practice partner, you support innovative founders in the early stages as a mentor and implementation partner. Give your employees the freedom and new perspectives they need to bring ideas to fruition. Offer your employees access to innovative methods in the areas of creative idea generation, agility, and design thinking.

Innovative technology and new methods, combined with years of target audience and practical experience, enrich one another.
